Message: Paving, plowing and killing biological diversity to put solar panels everywhere is just plain stupid. This same technology can go in the built environment, on the roof. The whole idea of solar energy is to help the planet. When solar causes wholesale extinction, it is not even close to being green.

Message: Save this rare and endangered habitat as a link to our wild past. With so few places left of our legacy of wild and agricultural land, it would be a tragedy to spoil this wonderful spot.

Message: I am saddened that the solar farm project may be implemented. I will share your petition in hopes others will sign and set forth new standards for the land. It's a shame. The government keeps promising "green jobs". They aren't any. This will not impact the people of Panoche Valley, or anywhere else for that matter. The government is just using this as a ploy to exploit. It's so sad. WAKE UP AMERICA.

Message: Panoche Valley is too valuable for wildlife. It has been shown that alternative energy farms nearer to urbanized centers are more efficient. Please do not approve the proposed project.
